Enzyme Liver Lab
In this lab, we tested the rate of the enzyme in liver that react with four different types of liquid which are normal water as a control, hot water, cold water, acidified water and basified water. The enzyme is a protein that act as a catalyst which speed up chemical reaction. The work of enzyme depends on temperature pH and substrate concentration. The substrate go into the active site of enzyme, where they are fit tigether. Then, the enzyme change shape as chemical bond are broke or formed the product and it released frrm the enzyme which enzyme be used again. The enzyme in the normal water works best. The products of this reaction are oxygen and water. This lab helped me understand more about this topic because this topic is a bit confuse. Me and my friends help each other to do the experiment and record the data.
The Enzyme Liver Lab related to strategic learners because we apply what we learn to do this lab.
