Recording Project

I plan to compose a soundscape birds chirping, biding flying, human taking the hat off by using the badminton bracket, wind and wind blowing trees as inpiration. I will record, edit, and organize sounds in editing software called Audicity to express my creative ideas.

I plan to use the following list of sounds to express my creative ideas: birds chirping, biding flying, human taking the hat off, wind and wind blowing trees. The purpose of my plan is to create a simple outline to organized thoughts and moods of sounds- planing contrast (variations) and repitition of sound (familiarity). The sounds will be organized to portray the naturalistic of human in the park to show the realtion between birds and human using soundscape.

Final Soundscape Video

In this final video I want to show the sound in the park that have the sound of wind and birds sining. The man comes in and hit with the bird by the hat. After the birds got hit, they fly away and crying which I use the sound of the bird that sound sad and I insert the dog barking sound to show that the man shouldn't do that to the birds. I know how to use the garage band and imovie for creating a sound and video. I learned how to change the pitch and the frequency of the sound to make the sound unique. I think it is very interesting because sound can be changed as I want it to be. I would I improve the quality of my project to be more creative and use more various of sound to create more interesting soundscape. I will do more research of how to create a sound by using daily life objects around me. Using more various of sound can make the music more interesting and I can experiment on the new technology program for editing the sound. I would give myself at least a C. The ESOLOs that related to this project is Strategic Learners and Innovative Thinkers.
