We did this gummy bear DNA activity as a pair. We made a DNA by using gummy bears and twizzler-like candy. The different colors of the gummy bears represent different nitrogenous base so we put it together according to the complementary base pair rule by using the toothpick which represents the hydrogen bond. The twizzler-like candy represents phosphate group and pentose sugar. This lab makes me understand more about the structure of DNA.

The ESLOs that related to this activity is Innovative thinkers because we apply what we have leaned to create a DNA.
